The Disability & Philanthropy Forum mobilizes philanthropy to dismantle ableism by increasing funding for disability inclusion, rights, and justice; amplifying the leadership of disabled people in the philanthropic sector; and educating philanthropy to build a culture of inclusion.

The Disability & Philanthropy Forum is fiscally sponsored by the Proteus Fund who partners with foundations, advocates, and individual donors to advance democracy, human rights, and peace.

Executive Director

With the planned retirement of our founding Executive Director Emily Harris, the Disability & Philanthropy Forum has begun the search for our next Executive Director. The Forum is seeking a hands-on and collaborative leader to carry forward our mission and usher the organization through a period of transformation. The Executive Director will serve as the Forum’s highly visible ambassador in the disability and philanthropic communities, combining their profound knowledge of the philanthropic sector with their experience in/knowledge of the disability community. Candidates who have lived disability experience and identify as having a disability are welcome and highly encouraged to apply for this position.
