This guide for funders, created by Open Society Foundations (OSF), a member of the Presidents’ Council on Disability Inclusion in Philanthropy, “encourages readers to think about fellowships as a useful tool to make the leadership pipeline for youth activists more equitable and to contribute to building more inclusive collective power.” The guide is shaped by OSF’s learning from developing a fellowship program for intellectually and developmentally disabled activists, and promotes a disability justice approach.
